The San Marcos, TX facility is looking to fill a Mechanical Assembler II Role. You will plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, tests, fabrications, and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work. Working Hours (after the completion of training): 2nd shift hours (3pm-11:30 pm) Monday -Friday. What You Will Do Training hours: 7am-3:30pm for up to 90 days. Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects. Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

Precision Assembly:

Utilize hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, rivet guns, grinders, orbital sanders, and pull motors, for daily assembly tasks.

Measurement & Inspection:

Employ measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers, to ensure products meet specifications.

Blueprints & Instructions:

Adherence and understanding of blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products.

Equipment Adjustment:

Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery.

Testing & Recording:

Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process, recording gauge readings and test results.

Compliance & Safety:

Adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent foreign objects and debris from contaminating products.

Quality & Safety Standards:

Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area. Must be willing and able to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day. Other duties as assigned.
