High SchoolResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do (Job Duties) As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality Volvo trucks. Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment, you will: Position and fasten together truck subassemblies (including frames, axles, powertrains, cabs, electrical components, and hydraulic/air systems). Install mechanical and electrical components such as engines, transmissions, wire harnesses, pumps, and air-conditioning systems. Perform repetitive assembly tasks according to strict blueprints and standard operating procedures. Examine connections for correct fit and inspect parts to catch any defects or quality issues. Safely utilize overhead cranes and rigging techniques (training provided). Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while documenting your production actions.
