Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join a dynamic team that designs and manufactures conveyor systems aimed at enhancing speed, reliability, and efficiency in consumer packaged goods movement. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring high-quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists, gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Position parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings. Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies. Verify specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections. Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures. Essential Skills Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret a tape measure Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools Ability to retain information regarding standard assembly/disassembly procedures Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in mechanical assembly or interpreting blueprints is preferred.
