) Geekify is hiring! We're a small company in Broomfield that does project and manufacturing work for companies across a broad spectrum, primarily in the geek industry. We work on fun and unique projects and our client base includes game, film, and movie studios. Our workshop is full of equipment for making and building just about anything, and is awesome for the crafting-inclined. • We're currently looking for a decently tech-savvy person to assist with daily production needs on the laser cutter(s) and vinyl plotters.

Knowing your way around a computer a must, being a creative problem solver, and good with your hands a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Machine operation of laser cutters, UV printers, vinyl plotters. We'll train you on the machine operation itself, but knowledge of vectors and/or Adobe Illustrator is a plus!
• Daily use of above machines to render materials for use in Production and assembly
• Vectorizing graphics
• File management of production files
• Tracking orders and products through various design phases in

Production Requirements:

• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Creative problem solving abilities
• Understanding of deadlines and production schedules
• Willingness to learn about manufacturing processes
• Can read a ruler!
• Knowledge of geek culture!
• Imagination!
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or other vector program a plus This position is available as a full time or part time position, with flexible scheduling and some remote work components available over time.
