Job Description

Responsible for the production and kitting of raw materials that will be used on the production line for all Ritz USA value streams. This position requires mid-level computer skills that are employed to produce name plates that contain critical identification for customers. Materials that are processed and broken down into specific components must conform to specifications and dimensions exactly. Accuracy and consistency are of the upmost importance. This position requires a person that is self-motivated and does not need constant supervision.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Executing work orders that require specific components to be processed to specific dimensions and quantities for use in the production/manufacturing areas. Cutting bobbins for secondary winding stations. Assembling wiring harnesses for DVG transformers. Producing vinyl ratio labels and other vinyl products that are used in various departments. Producing core jackets from pressboard using a press machine with various dies. Producing various sheet goods for use in the active part assembly areas. 2. Utilize laser engraving machines to produce customer specific nameplate identification tags. Verify and compare the nameplate requirements to engineering drawings and special notes on the customer work order to ensure accuracy of the finished product. Utilize production schedules to ensure that nameplates are created and made available on time for the pack out area teams.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. 2. Basic knowledge of the metric system. 3. Mid-level understanding of how to navigate Windows directory. 4. CAD or graphic design software experience. 5. Ability to interpret basic technical drawings. 6. Reasoning ability. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. 7. Problem solving ability. 8. Ability to pay close attention to detail. 9. Ability to memorize several different style parts and numbers. 10. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds required. #LI-DNI 2nd Shift Differential $.60
