Summary:

The Co-op/Internship for the Estimating team will do a variety of tasks in the Planswift software, as well as others. In addition, they will complete small customer quotes and develop HVAC fundamentals.

Essential Functions:

Estimating:

Setting up projects for the entire Estimating group prior to the estimators going into the program and starting their take-off The Co-Op/junior estimator will be using the Planswift electronic take-off software to perform the following tasks: o Import PDF files into Planswift o Rename pages o Scale drawings o Create product folders o Eventually create schedules (Fans, VAV/FPT's, Dampers) Perform small electronic take-off's using software, review and evaluate specifications, schedules and details to ensure proper accessories are selected and quoted Develop comprehensive understanding of selection software packages provided by our manufacturers Generate small customer quotes including but not limited to commodity fans, RGD's, VAV's, fan powered units, louvers and dampers Further develop HVAC fundamentals and product knowledge, stay informed of new products and product lines.
