Responsibilities:

Set up and operate all required equipment for lapping Master Rings, Master Plugs, Air Plugs and Air Rings. Select proper grade of lapping compound for each type of lapping. Set up and operate an Electronic Comparator 136-B3, 700-B using gauge blocks and required contacts. Inspect your work for size, finish and accuracy.

Requirements:

High school or vocational education. 3 years of lapping/honing and/or inspection experience required. Attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy to 5 millionths of an inch.
