Insert seal faces via shrink fitting using induction heating equipment.
Set up, operate, and maintain lapping machines to achieve required seal face flatness, figure, and surface finish tolerances.
Verify seal face figure and flatness using an optical flat or interferometer.
Clean and polish parts to meet cosmetic requirements using speed lathes.
Execute pressure testing on all inserted seal faces and bellows assemblies, and rework inserted parts when necessary.
Work in collaboration with the Welding team to rework leaking bellows assemblies.
Set bellows free length and measure parts to verify dimensional conformance to technical drawings.
