You will play a vital role in ensuring our high-performance components receive durable, professional-grade finishes that meet rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities Execute precise surface preparation including sanding, deburring, and cleaning to ensure optimal coating adhesion. Operate electrostatic spray equipment to apply consistent, high-quality powder coat finishes. Conduct thorough quality inspections to verify coating thickness and coverage, performing necessary touch-ups to maintain excellence. Proactively troubleshoot surface preparation issues and identify coating defects to minimize rework. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by performing routine equipment maintenance and sanitation. Support broader manufacturing operations through efficient material handling and part staging. Accurately document production output and material usage to support inventory and quality tracking. Adhere strictly to safety protocols regarding chemical handling, ventilation, and industrial equipment operation. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of hands-on experience with powder coating processes. Proficiency in using various hand tools for surface refinement. Demonstrated commitment to quality control and attention to detail. Physical capability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in an independent production setting. Preferred Skills Prior experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environments. Ability to interpret technical blueprints and manufacturing drawings. Valid forklift certification or operational experience. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
