We design, build and install all our custom cabinetry for our large residential customer base in and around the North Shore of Massachusetts. We are currently looking for a parts finisher to work full time in our shop.
Qualifications:
Active drivers' License
Must be able and dedicated to work to a high standard of quality
Ability to stand for 8 hours, sit, walk, climb, stoop, and/or kneel
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs
Willingness to learn and take direction
Dependable and responsible
Ability to perform repetitive work with precision while maintaining attention to detail
Eagerness to take on challenging projects
Highly motivated
Exercises good judgement
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others and follow instructions
Good hand/eye coordination, hand and finger dexterity and color sensitivity
Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
Utilize proper respiratory requirements as necessary
Maintain speed and accuracy without a loss to production
Maintain a workspace that is both safe and clean
Prepare and clean surfaces to be spray coated
Apply paints/coating to surfaces in a uniform manner and avoid over-spraying
Coat all parts according to specifications
Produce a surface free of defects; runs, uneven coverage, etc.
Clean spray gun, equipment and work area consistently, and place tools in their proper location
Maintain spray booth equipment, changing filters, general cleaning and notifying management of any wear and tear needing to be addressed
Move and store materials as necessary to ensure the quality of the product is maintained
Operate power equipment
Additional duties as requested or required
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
2 - 3 years Finishing experience
Basic knowledge of power tools and woodworking machinery (preferred)
