Safely operating heat treating furnaces, temper furnaces, and washer, including operation of the charge car Testing parts for hardness using Rockwell hardness tester or portable hardness tester Use of cut-off saw to section parts when required Flame hardening Painting parts with carb stop paint (when requested by customer) Loading and unloading parts to / from customer containers to baskets or racks. Signing off (paper copy and computerized copy) of any work being done. Performing routine cleaning on and around processing equipment as needed or per a prescribed maintenance schedule. Notifying management of any maintenance or quality issues.
