Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable Metal Prep and Bonding team member to support daily manufacturing operations in New Hope, MN. This position is responsible for preparing metal surfaces and performing bonding processes according to prints, specifications, and established work instructions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with hands-on manufacturing work, and able to accurately use measuring tools and basic math to ensure consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare metal materials for bonding and production according to prints and specifications. Clean, prep, and condition metal surfaces to meet bonding requirements. Perform bonding operations according to established procedures and quality standards. Read and interpret basic prints, specifications, and work instructions. Measure materials accurately using rulers and tape measures. Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material preparation. Inspect prepared and bonded components to ensure they meet quality requirements. Identify defects, inconsistencies, or other quality concerns and communicate them to supervisors. Handle and move metal materials throughout the preparation and bonding process. Follow established production procedures to maintain quality and consistency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines. Assist with additional production and manufacturing tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing, metal preparation, bonding, assembly, or related production experience preferred. Ability to read and understand basic prints, specifications, and work instructions. Ability to accurately read rulers and tape measures. Basic math skills required. Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Dependable with consistent attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for several hours at a time. Ability to frequently walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive production tasks.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. Regular handling of metal materials and use of production equipment and tools. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and hands-on production work. Required use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include safety glasses, gloves, and other protective equipment. Must consistently follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
