We are fast-paced, fun, innovative and our goal is to Common Fibers is a growing carbon fiber/composite fabrication company, specializing in aesthetic and structural automotive and consumer goods in a wide range of industries. Current projects include manufacturing the world's fastest supercar, high end speaker enclosures, personal aircraft, and robotic structures. Experience preferred, but training will be provided..

The successful candidate will be responsible for kitting, laying up, and trimming of composite parts for vacuum infusion. Primary responsibilities will include fabricating composite parts and components, QC, following process specs and blueprints, and general shop maintenance and cleanliness. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret drawings, and experience working with a variety of composite materials. The ideal candidate will also have experience in troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment. The candidate should be comfortable working with dry carbon fabrics and ideally also have experience with pre-preg carbon fiber.

Responsibilities:

Layup Infusion Composite Parts Kitting and Trimming of Composite Parts Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Inspect parts for quality assurance. Mix and apply resins, adhesives, and other materials according to specified formulas. Understand and adhere to safety regulations and procedures.

Monthly Bonus:

CF has a monthly profit share amongst all employees that hit their weekly goals. The bonus could be as high as $1,000 per month.
