This position will be responsible for blasting of chassis & parts with preparation to include cleaning, masking & quality control of all substrates prior & post of sandblast process in direct readiness for the paint application. Roles & Responsibilities Remove excess metal and unwanted materials from metal parts, casting and other metal products. Examine all blasted parts for company quality standards. Prepare & maintain equipment and media consumables. Schedule maintenance of equipment and cleanup of direct work area(s). Monitor all equipment, materials, PPE for wear as per safety compliance(s). Schedule and complete tasks a directed.
Education and Experience:
1-2 years of previous industry experience High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Specific Skills:
Safety Procedure Adherence Oral Communication, critical thinking Problem Solving/Decision Making•job task planning & organizing Support any mission, visions, goals objectives of department and company Manual Dexterity Ability to lift 50 lbs. Layout of Patterns Operation of specific tools, including sandblast equipment and basic hand tools (grips, wrenches, screwdrivers, craft knives, etc.) Work without supervision. Punctuality Good attitude and ability to work well with others as well as alone
