Temp RPM Staffing is seeking experienced Powder Coat Painters to join a busy manufacturing team in Rowlett, TX! This position is responsible for preparing metal surfaces, applying powder coatings, operating curing equipment, and inspecting finished products to ensure a high-quality, durable finish. The ideal candidate has previous powder coating experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to working safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying pretreatment chemicals.
- Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment.
- Operate and monitor curing ovens to ensure proper coating results.
- Inspect finished products for proper coverage, uniformity, and quality.
- Mix and match powder colors according to production specifications.
- Clean and maintain powder coating equipment and work areas.
- Work with production and quality teams to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE. Qualifications
- Powder coating experience required.
- Experience operating powder coating equipment and working with powder coating processes.
- Ability to read and follow job instructions, blueprints, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Skills & Experience
