DJI Agriculture Drone Technician Talos Drones March Air Reserve Base, CA Job Details Full-time From $24 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Some college Computer science Computer Science Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Time management Full Job Description Talos Drones is seeking a new detail-oriented and customer-focused After-Sales Technician for DJI Agriculture and Talos Branded Drones to join our aftersales support team. You will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues with their drones. Your role will involve diagnosing problems, guiding customers through troubleshooting steps, identifying which parts may need replacement, and supporting warranty claims. You may also conduct remote or in-person training on drone operation when necessary.

Responsibilities:

Answer incoming technical support calls and emails. Assist customers in troubleshooting drone-related issues. Diagnose hardware or operational problems and recommend part replacements. Guide customers on proper drone operation and best practices. Support the processing of warranty claims and documentation. Collaborate with the repair team to ensure timely resolutions. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service tickets. Hands on troubleshooting involving drone and accessory repair. Training customers or dealers on usage and technical specifications of the product. Drone disassembly and assembly tasks such as unit prep for sale or parts removal. Occasional travel to represent the company by training dealers, support school programs, assist with marketing content, and participate in trade shows.

Qualifications:

College experience is required. Technical Degree focus such as engineering or computer science is highly preferred. Prior experience with drones or RC equipment is highly preferred. Technical experience in hardware troubleshooting preferred. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills. Technical aptitude and the ability to understand mechanical and electronic components. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Willingness to learn and adapt to new drone models and software updates. Attention to detail is highly needed. Organized and excellent time management and prioritization.

Work Environment:

This is an on-site position based at our facility in March Air Reserve Base, Riverside, CA. You will be working closely with our repair technicians and customer service team.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or similar shift) Flexible Weekend availability needed during peak season or travel

This position requires flexibility to work on the weekends primarily during our peak season (Roughly around summer season) and occasional travel either in-state or out-of-state to train or represent the company.
