  • $23 DOE Growing meat processing company is looking to hire QC Techs on their 1st shift. Candidates must be open to working overtime and weekends as needed. Monday
  • Friday 3am start time
  • 1st Shift 12pm start time
  • 2nd shift
Responsibilities:
Auditing production lines, sanitation processes, and employee adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collecting raw, in-process, and finished product samples for microbiological and analytical lab testing (e.g., pH, moisture, weight) to meet specifications. Implementing Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans to identify and mitigate safety risks. Maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits; assisting with data verification for food safety management systems. Investigating quality deviations, identifying root causes, and initiating corrective/preventative actions. Identifying and placing holds on nonconforming materials or finished goods to prevent contaminated or subpar products from leaving the facility.
Requirements:
Familiarity with Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), GMPs, SQF, BRC, or ISO standards. Ability to use lab equipment, interpret technical data, and perform basic mathematics. Strong attention to detail, verbal/written communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
