Job Description
We are an established interior/exterior plant company looking for a talented, self-motivated, "passionate professional gardener" to care for Interior Tropical Plants. We maintain healthy and appealing interior landscapes from palms to orchids in corporate offices, hotels, and high-end residences. The ideal candidate to complement our team will have experience, a people-friendly personality, enthusiasm and energy, together with a willingness to learn. This is a physically demanding job that requires walking and lifting up to 40 lbs. Required at least 3 years Professional Horticulture Work Experience and/or Education in Related Field such as agronomy, botany, Garden Center, Plant Nursery, etc. to be considered for this open position. Great people skills are necessary to work with our team and our customers. You must be well-organized and able to work independently and follow a schedule
DAY-TO-DAY KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving to clients and utilizing your horticultural background to service plants at various buildings throughout the area. Care for and maintain plants on a daily basis. Plant maintenance includes among other items, watering, pruning, cleaning, pest control and replacements.REQUIREMENTS
- Horticulture experience. Minimum 3 years Professional Experience and/or Education.
- Advanced education in Horticulture related field preferred but not required with adequate experience.
- Must have an attention to detail and appreciate the benefits of healthy living plants.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must display excellent customer service skills and be courteous and respectful of clientele.
- Proficiency in English, verbal and written skills.
