Janson Equipment Co. is seeking a Heavy Agricultural Equipment Technician at our Breckenridge, MI location. You'll be a great fit for our Heavy Machinery Technician position if: You have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment You come equipped with your own tools and toolbox to perform the job effectively You have a valid driver's license with a driving record that qualifies under company insurance guidelines You are proficient with computers and can learn new software and systems You have strong communication skills and work effectively with customers and team members You can prioritize work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards What we expect from you on a day-to-day basis: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural equipment in a timely and efficient manner Accurately document labor hours, repair details, parts usage, and service information within computer-based service software systems Communicate regularly with the Service Manager regarding job progress, repair status, and completion timelines Perform preseason and postseason equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure equipment readiness Properly operate, maintain, and care for company
