Compensation $19.50 to $20.20 per hour plus strong benefits. The Opportunity This is a great opportunity for a meticulous and proactive quality assurance professional to uphold the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by ensuring every product meets rigorous safety, quality, and certification requirements. If you're passionate about food quality and safety, this is your opportunity to shine. Position Description Conduct comprehensive quality checks at all stages of production. Implement and manage food safety and quality hold procedures with precise communication and documentation. Verify packaging materials and codes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Oversee HACCP compliance through direct observation and monitoring, including metal detector CCP records. Drive corrective action plans and ensure seamless implementation. Enforce plant certifications and regulatory requirements, including FDA/ODA, Kosher, Organic, and Halal standards. Monitor adherence to HACCP plans and prerequisite programs, ensuring all protocols are meticulously followed. Collect and manage samples for external analysis across various production stages. Conduct regular GMP checks, floor audits, and pre-operational startup evaluations. Verify product labels for compliance and maintain detailed records. Oversee equipment cleanliness, ensuring results are documented and communicated effectively. Investigate and document foreign body occurrences, ensuring swift resolution and prevention measures. Experience Prior quality assurance experience. Prior experience in the food processing industry. Qualifications Familiarity with GMPs, Food Safety, and company policies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Keen attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus. Availability for a 24/7 operation with flexibility for multiple shifts.
