As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of product quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

5 Months contract with possible extension.
Hours:
7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Some Saturdays as needed.
Pay Range:
$22/hr w2 What's the Job? Monitor the production process and product quality through sensory, weight control, and analytical methods to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications. Evaluate finished products regarding moisture, ingredient content, color, package fill, weights, seal integrity, and overall quality. Perform and document routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, including inspection and testing of incoming materials and products from outside suppliers. Utilize testing equipment for validation and calibration, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results. Communicate any out-of-compliance situations and product standards to production teams and supervisors, and assist in coordinating rework or disposition decisions. What's Needed? Some laboratory or quality assurance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment. Ability to perform routine biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation. Adherence to safety and hygiene guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and safe lifting procedures. Availability to work onsite from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some Saturdays as needed, and flexibility for mandatory overtime. What's in it for me?
