Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial robotic and automated production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related problems.
Troubleshoot robotic faults, alarms, communication errors, and equipment failures.
Make robotic program and parameter adjustments as needed.
Assist with robotic programming, teach pendant operation, and position adjustments.
Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and operational checks.
Troubleshoot and maintain robotic palletizing, packaging, conveying, and material-handling systems.
Work with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, variable frequency drives, servos, and other automated controls.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on robotic and automated equipment.
Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend solutions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Assist with installation, setup, integration, and commissioning of new robotic and automated equipment.
Safely troubleshoot equipment using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
Work with Maintenance and Production personnel to resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, equipment issues, parts used, and preventive maintenance activities.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety, food safety, quality, GMP, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Ensure robotic and automated equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with manufacturer and company requirements.
Assist with training Robotics Operators on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial robotics and automated manufacturing equipment required.
Previous experience troubleshooting and maintaining robotic systems in a manufacturing environment required.
Experience with robotic palletizing, packaging, material handling, or similar applications preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and HMIs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Experience with sensors, motors, servos, VFDs, pneumatics, and other industrial automation components.
Experience using robotic teach pendants and making basic programming or positional adjustments.
Strong computer skills and ability to work with computerized control systems.
Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically and work independently.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with Production, Maintenance, and other departments.
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or robotics/automation training preferred.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to equipment issues as needed. Shift Availability Robotics Technician positions are available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Applicants should indicate their preferred shift when applying. Final shift assignment will be based on experience, qualifications, and production/maintenance needs. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb stairs and ladders, and work around production equipment.
Ability to lift and handle up to 60 pounds safely.
Ability to perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and other physical activities as required.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, temperature changes, and moving equipment.
Ability to work in confined or elevated areas when required.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Benefits
