We specialize in transforming local urban lumber and live-edge slabs into exceptional, high-quality custom furniture for residential and commercial spaces. Our work spans the entire process, from raw log milling and kiln drying to fine woodworking and professional finishing. We take pride in sustainability, craftsmanship, and a shop culture where practical problem-solving is the standard. The Role We are looking for a reliable, experienced Full-Time Shop Woodworker to join our team. In this role, you will be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the shop, working directly with live-edge slabs, dimensional lumber, and custom furniture builds. You will operate and maintain heavy machinery and hand tools, assist with finishing techniques, and help keep the shop organized and safe. This is a hands-on position that requires initiative. When you encounter a challenge on a build, we expect you to think it through and figure out a solution rather than letting the problem defeat you. Key Responsibilities Build, assemble, and finish custom wood furniture to high quality standards. Safely operate and maintain shop equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and heavy woodworking machinery. Process and prepare raw materials, including live-edge slabs and dimensional lumber. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times. Troubleshoot practical shop challenges independently and keep projects moving forward. Assist with material handling, loading, and shop logistics as needed. What You Bring (Requirements)

Experience:

Previous professional woodworking or shop experience is strictly required. You must be confident and safe with power tools and hand tools.

Reliability:

You must show up on time, ready to work, with reliable transportation to and from the shop in Paso Robles.

Physical Capability:

This is a demanding physical role. You must be able to stand for long periods, safely operate heavy machinery, and safely lift and move wood and materials weighing 100+ lbs using appropriate equipment, team lifting, and safe work procedures, with or without reasonable accommodation.
