Cabinet and Furniture Finisher Brothers of Industry Ventura, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Paid sick time Qualifications Wood finishing Attention to detail Millwork Spray guns (painting, coating and spraying tool) Full Job Description We are a custom cabinet and furniture company seeking a skilled Finisher to join our team. Our work includes high-quality residential and commercial projects, with a focus on sprayed clear finishes and custom colors/finishes . Responsibilities Spray clear finishes (lacquers, conversion varnish, waterborne finishes, etc.) Mix and apply custom colors, stains, and specialty finishes Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, and sealing Maintain consistent quality according to samples and finish specifications Collaborate with shop and project teams to meet quality and production timelines Maintain spray booth, tools, and equipment in a clean and safe condition Qualifications Experience finishing cabinets and/or furniture Proficient with spray application techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow finish formulas, samples, and written work orders Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team Preferred (Not Required) Experience with custom color matching Background in high-end or architectural millwork Familiarity with waterborne and low-VOC finishing systems Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to safely work with finishing materials and equipment What We Offer Steady, full-time employment Competitive pay within the stated range Clean, well-equipped shop Custom, non-production-line work Benefits in accordance with California law, including paid sick leave Equal Employment Opportunity We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all applicable California and federal employment laws.
