Job Description

Job Purpose:
As a Shop Technician at F.N. Sheppard and Company, you'll produce, fabricate, and repair specialty conveyor belts. The products you help create are used by suppliers all over the world in all sorts of industries. Your work will make sure that everything runs smoothly, and you'll be part of a team that creates products used globally!
Key Responsibilities:
Get hands-on with specialty conveyor belting by cutting, slitting, buffing, and cleaning. Create and assemble unique products using a variety of different fabricating methods. Use small hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Determine what materials are needed to complete the products from work orders. Keep your workspace safe and tidy. Be a reliable team member who shows up on time and is ready to go each and every day. Use your basic math skills to read and understand instructions. We couldn't be more excited to welcome new graduates, and don't worry if you don't have experience yet. We're all about on-the-job training, and you'll learn our unique manufacturing process in no time.
