Bluegrass Furniture Outlet - Lexington, KY $15/hour + Sales Commission Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Weekends Required Bluegrass Furniture Outlet is looking for an energetic, dependable, hands-on person who can do a little bit of everything. This is not a position where you will do the exact same thing every day. We need someone who can move easily between warehouse work, showroom operations, and customer service. You might start the morning unloading a furniture truck, spend the afternoon helping customers find the right sectional, ring up a sale, reorganize part of the showroom, and finish the day helping load a customer's furniture. We are looking for someone who likes staying active, enjoys working with people, has a good sense of humor, and doesn't need to be told every five minutes what needs to be done. What You'll Do Help customers and sell furniture Earn commission on your sales Unload furniture trucks Load furniture for customer pickups Move, sort, and organize furniture in the warehouse Keep the warehouse organized and easy to navigate Rearrange furniture and help maintain the showroom Merchandise new furniture as it arrives Check customers out using our POS system Help keep the showroom clean and presentable Occasionally drive a company vehicle when needed Jump in wherever the store needs help Talk to customers, have a personality, and yes — making them laugh is encouraged What We're Looking For We want someone who is: Dependable — if you're scheduled, we expect you to be here Self-motivated and able to find something productive to do even when the store is slow Comfortable with physical work and moving furniture Comfortable talking to customers and making sales Friendly, outgoing, and able to joke around while remaining professional Organized and able to keep a warehouse and showroom in order Comfortable learning our POS/check-out system Willing to learn about furniture and our products A team player who doesn't believe certain tasks are "not my job" Available to work weekends Able to safely perform the physical duties of the position Driving Requirements Valid driver's license required Clean driving record required Must be comfortable driving company vehicles when necessary

Speaking more than one language is a big plus! We serve customers from many different backgrounds, so any additional language can be a valuable asset. Furniture or sales experience is helpful, but personality, work ethic, reliability, common sense, and willingness to learn matter more to us. Schedule & Pay Full-Time - 5 days per week Weekend availability is required.

Starting Pay:

$15/hour + Sales Commission This isn't just a warehouse position and it isn't just a sales position.
