Will assist with small internal person move. This role requires furniture installer experience, a hands-on service oriented individual who is detailed focused, reliable, and able to communicate effectively. Job Description Duties & Responsibilities Configuration of office furniture, set up new offices, assemble height adjustable desks, and break down lab racks if needed. Includes installing monitor arms and desk equipment. Inspect and perform minor repairs or adjustments to furniture to ensure proper use and appearance. Manage furniture inventory at warehouse on campus. Will train on Sortly Inventory system. Palletize, and label furniture items for storage in the warehouse. Maintain attention to detail when following work orders, and safety requirements. Communicate clearly to resolve issues and complete requests. Identify and troubleshoot problems, escalate issues as needed. Be prepared to handle variety of tasks and maintain professionalism at all times, while ensuring a smooth move. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Drive box truck to load and unload on campus. Skills Furniture installer experience, configurations and warehouse management. Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in furniture installation, configuration, and moves. Experience and/or comfortable using equipment such as hand drill, hand pallet jack, and fork lift (will be trained). Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Will drive box truck on campus. High level of attention to detail and organization. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with customer service mindset. Prior experience in furniture installation and moves, or similar hands-on roles preferred. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Sortly Inventory system a plus. Will train. A high school diploma is required at a minimum. Physical Requirements Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs., and move furniture and equipment safely. Frequent walking, standing, bending, and carrying items. Coordination. Ability to use hand drill, hand pallet jack, and fork lift.
