We develop, design, manufacture in our Texas factory (that's right, made in Texas, USA!) and we sell standing desks in all 50 states. The Xdesk custom line of products is in a category all its own, as it combines all the benefits of power adjustability with hand-crafted vintage industrial design. Xdesk vintage draws inspiration from both modern design and industrial design, both figuring prominently in his design process. There is also a clear emphasis on superb craftsmanship that is apparent. The inspired and beautifully crafted creations include striking combinations such hot-rolled steel and rustic yet sustainable wood. And best of all, they are made with the most important tool: our hands. This position is one of the most important functions in the company. Our custom desk line is our flagship product and the quality expectation is high. Whether the customer has a positive or negative experience is largely based on build quality. Delivering a quality product that you can be proud of is the key to a successful experience. Here are some of the things you'll get to do: Operate a state of the art CNC router Finish and assemble custom desks, workstations and furniture. Using basic hand tools, power tools, and woodworking tools. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a respectful manner to co-workers. Consistently arrives to work on time and completes furniture pieces according to specs. Maintains a clean and organized work area Cross train for other departments as needed. Basic qualifications:
Mechanically included, strong technical ability, and good with hands. High school, GED, or equivalent diploma Strong experience working with hands, such as woodworking, mechanical assembly, or other high technical role. Takes pride in work. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Pre-Employment Drug screen is required
