Paragon Force, Inc. is currently searching for a talented and eager Engineering Technician to join our team and help support NSWC Crane. In this position, the employee will work closely with other Technicians, Engineers, Quality Specialists, and SME's as well as directly with the customer. We are searching for a driven individual that is experienced with Waterjet machining and programing using OMAX software. This position requires quick turnarounds and a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Duties Setup, operate, and maintain a Waterjet machine to specified tolerances and dimensions. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications. Program drawings into OMAX software to cut material on water jet. Set up items, load program files, locates correct positions, and completes cutting in accordance with specifications. Assemble and manufacture prototype equipment. Test fixtures for various avionics assemblies and mechanical components. Work with all types of engineering materials such as sheet metal, fiberglass, composites, plastics, wood and other materials. Uses a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Verify machine accuracy. Requires occasional heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Requirements Prior experience operating waterjet machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Able to obtain a Secret Clearance (+ if a clearance is already active).
