Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Die Shop Corrector/Polisher to join our aluminum extrusion plant. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and precision of die components used in the manufacturing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, correcting, and polishing dies to meet strict quality standards, supporting efficient production and high-quality aluminum extrusions. Duties Inspect die components for defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies. Correct and repair dies as needed to ensure proper fit, function, and finish. Polish die surfaces to achieve smoothness and optimal performance. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and any corrections made. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure dies are prepared for production runs. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Use hand tools, polishing equipment, and measuring instruments with precision. Assist in troubleshooting die issues and recommend improvements when necessary. Skills Proven experience in die correction, polishing, or related metalworking skills, preferably within an aluminum extrusion environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent visual inspection skills. Ability to operate hand tools, polishing machines, and measuring devices accurately. Knowledge of die design, materials, and manufacturing processes is preferred. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications related to die components. Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per week
