Job Description

SUMMARY 4 - 10

hour shifts M-Th, Possible O.T. - (Volunteer or Mandatory as needed) Benefits after 60 days Starting Wage based on experience Provides accurate and timely setting of dies into power presses. Coordinates first part approval with Quality Control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Installs and aligns various progressive and secondary dies in press according to specifications. Adjusts ram stroke to specified length. Develop set-up specifications for new jobs. Coordinates the electronic roll feeders with various dies and presses. Assists machine operators in troubleshooting press issues. Effectively troubleshoots and corrects problems in die to meet quality specifications. Follows and trains all safety requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school education or equivalent Two year's experience in Die Setting or similar related position. Ability to read measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Good mechanical skills. Ability to obtain/retain Lift Truck, OH Crane, LOTO Authorization certifications. General knowledge of various metal stamping equipment.
