Job Description
Current Opening 1 position on Midnight shift Midnight Hours are 7:30pm-5:30a/m.. 4 days (MTWTH) 10 hour shifts. All off shifts get a +$1 shift differential. We are looking for a CNC Tool Grinder/Operator to produce premium quality, high precision carbide cutting tools using specific tool grinding machines and programs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability preferred. Responsibilities:
- Tool Grinder/Programmer - 1 + years experience
- Identify imperfections
- Perform basic inspection measurements
- Make basic program and wheel offsets
- Maintain production machines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Take reliable notes
- Manually jog all machine axis safely
- Identify wheel wear on ALL wheel types
- Dress respective grinding wheels
- Set-Up, inspect, produce good first piece & run production on all standard endmills.
- Set-up, inspect, produce good first piece & run production on drills, keyway cutters, dovetail cutters & reamers.
- Make basic program and wheel offsets to drills, keyway cutters, dovetail cutters & reamers. Set-up, inspect, produce good first piece & run production on ANY job within machine capabilities.
- Extra consideration for certification from companies such as: Saacke ,Star, Numroto, Rollomatic, Walter, Reinecker, Anca etc.
