Set-Up Technician From $27.50 - $32.50 per hour Lake Mills, WI | Full-Time | Climate-Controlled Facility | Great Benefits Chapter 2, Inc. is hiring a Set-Up Technician to join our growing production team on 1st shift. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Interpret and understand programs mills and lathes by: entering data (including zero and reference points), setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches, calculating requirements (basic math, geometry and trigonometry), and proving part programs. Prepares the first piece inspection in accordance with company policy and work with quality department for production approval. Makes minor &/or major adjustments to machinery to insure that it is operating accurately, safely and efficiently, while production stays within established quality parameters. Verifies tool changes, re-sharpening, etc. Follows drawings, engineering prints and instructions effectively. Supports continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and needs. Carryout functions of a machine operator when need arises; encompasses but does not limit the duties and responsibilities listed on the CNC Machine Operator job description. To monitor, carry out and abide by company policies.
