Overview Join our dynamic team as a North Carolina Certified Asbestos Supervisor, where you will lead and oversee asbestos abatement projects with precision and expertise. This vital role involves managing asbestos removal operations in compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. As a key leader, you will coordinate teams, supervise project execution, and maintain excellent communication with clients and regulatory agencies. Your expertise will help protect public health while delivering exceptional service in industrial and commercial settings. MUST have a valid North Carolina supervisor's license. Duties Lead asbestos abatement projects, ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards. Supervise and coordinate asbestos removal teams, providing clear guidance and oversight throughout project phases. Conduct site inspections to assess asbestos conditions, develop work plans, and ensure proper containment and disposal procedures are followed. Manage project schedules, resources, and personnel to meet deadlines efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and team members to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain detailed documentation of all project activities, safety compliance records, and disposal logs for regulatory audits. Promote a culture of safety awareness by conducting training sessions on asbestos handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices. Requirements Valid North Carolina Certified Asbestos Supervisor license with comprehensive knowledge of state and federal asbestos regulations. Proven experience supervising asbestos abatement or industrial cleaning projects in commercial or industrial environments. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced settings; excellent managerial communication is essential. Familiarity with cleaning, sanitation management, and custodial practices specific to hazardous materials handling. Knowledge of safety regulations related to asbestos removal, industrial cleaning, and general site safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Excellent customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients and regulatory authorities.
