Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic disaster demolition and restoration team as a Disaster Demolition and Restoration Worker! In this vital role, you will be on the front lines responding to emergency situations caused by fire, flood, storm, or other disasters. Your energy and dedication will help restore properties and bring relief to clients during their most challenging times. Duties Respond promptly to emergency calls for fire, flood, mold, asbestos, or storm damage restoration projects. Perform demolition tasks including debris removal, structure stripping, and site cleanup using hand tools and power tools. Conduct water extraction, flood mitigation, and water damage restoration using specialized equipment. Execute fire restoration procedures such as soot removal and odor control while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with mold remediation and asbestos abatement following industry standards and safety guidelines. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site transportation of personnel and equipment. Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection during hazardous material handling. Maintain a clean work environment by performing detailed cleaning tasks like carpet cleaning and surface sanitation. Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure personal safety and that of team members during demolition and restoration activities. Support clients with professional customer service, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns with empathy. Experience Prior construction experience or hands-on work with power tools, hand tools, or demolition equipment is preferred. Experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as water damage, fire damage, or storm recovery is highly advantageous. Knowledge of safety procedures including respiratory protection use, PPE protocols, and hazardous material handling is essential. Ability to work on-call for emergency response coverage at any time day or night is necessary. Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork are highly valued. We will train the right person.
