Certified Asbestos Worker — Part-Time / Contract P's Junk Removal LLC Milwaukee, WI Job Details Part-time | Contract $25.89 - $31.18 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Asbestos Certification Personal protective equipment (PPE) adherence Safety equipment Respirator Full Job Description Job Overview P's Junk Removal & Demolition is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Certified Asbestos Worker to join our team on a part-time, contract (1099) basis, supporting jobs across the greater Milwaukee area and up to 100 miles out (Southeastern Wisconsin, Chicagoland, and Madison). In this role, you'll safely perform asbestos abatement in compliance with Wisconsin DHS and OSHA safety standards, helping ensure safe handling, removal, and disposal of hazardous materials on our demolition and remediation projects.

Pay:

$25-$30/hr, depending on experience and certification level. Flexible, as-needed schedule based on project volume. Duties Perform asbestos abatement procedures using approved methods and personal protective equipment (PPE) Handle hazardous materials safely, following containment and clearance protocols Work alongside our demolition crew on jobs requiring abatement scope Implement OSHA and Wisconsin DHS safety standards during all phases of work Follow decontamination procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure site safety Document work activities accurately, including abatement logs and safety compliance records Qualifications Current Wisconsin Asbestos Worker certification (DSPS/DHS) — required Reliable transportation to job sites across the service area Comfortable working in full PPE (respirator, suit, containment protocols) Able to pass a background check Experience preferred but not required — pay reflects experience level Preferred, not required: Lead Abatement certification

OSHA HAZWOPER

40-hour Prior demolition or restoration experience P's Junk Removal & Demolition is a licensed, insured, Wisconsin-certified lead and asbestos abatement and demolition company based in Milwaukee and surrounding areas.

Pay:

$25.89 - $31.18 per hour
