This is an event-based position.

Responsibilities:

Apply and properly size permanent jewelry on customers Safely and confidently operate a permanent jewelry welding/zap machine Weld bracelets and anklets securely and efficiently Attach charms and connectors to chains Check each weld to ensure jewelry is secure and finished properly Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality Provide a friendly, comfortable, and professional experience for customers Help maintain a clean and organized welding station throughout events

Requirements:

Previous permanent jewelry experience is required Must know how to size, fit, and weld permanent bracelets and anklets Experience operating a permanent jewelry welding/zap machine Comfortable attaching charms, connectors, and jump rings Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment Reliable, punctual, friendly, and comfortable working directly with customers Must be available for scheduled event dates and times

Part-Time Pay:

$25 College students encouraged to apply! We frequently work college events throughout San Diego, so being familiar with the local college scene is a plus. We're looking for someone who is confident in their permanent jewelry skills and can step into an event environment with minimal training. There may be opportunities to work additional events in the future as the business grows.

Pay:

$25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have reliable transportation? How many months or years of experience do you have working with permanent jewelry? Do you have experience operating a permanent jewelry pulse-arc/zap welder? Are you comfortable independently sizing, fitting, and welding permanent bracelets and anklets on customers? Do you have experience attaching charms/connectors and working with jump rings? Are you available to work in-person events throughout the San Diego area?
