Job Description

Davis Service Center in Montrose, CO is a multi line (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and KTM) motorcycle Dealer. We are looking for a Full-time Set up and PDI tech to join our service team. Job description but not limited to; Pre Delivery and Inspection (PDI) is a full time, entry level position in our service department. Education-High School diploma or GED. Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable. Experience on a fork lift isn't required but is a plus. We are willing to train the right person, however, a basic understanding of power sports units and mechanical aptitude is required.

Daily jobs include:

change tires
unload delivery trucks
assemble new units
prep sold units
complete inspection of sold units before delivery to customer.
deliver units to customers
load and unload units onto trucks and trailers
wash and clean powersports units
maintain batteries on new units on sales floor
operate fork lift and pallet jack
any other job store manager might need accomplished Applicants must be able to be on their feet for most of their shift as well as multi task as our service dept is a fast paced environment.

Basic Metric tools will be required for job. Basic reading and math skills are required and applicant must be able to follow detailed instructions to complete tasks. The assembly and prep of new units is detail oriented and must be followed to the letter. Applicant must be organized as occasionally one unit will need to be prepped and another assembled, keeping all parts and instructions separate.
