Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith/Apprentice to join our esteemed Marietta, GA based company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various locking mechanisms and security systems. This role involves providing exceptional service to clients by ensuring their security needs are met through installation, repair, and maintenance of locks and related hardware. The Locksmith will also be responsible for responding to emergency lockout situations with professionalism and efficiency. Key Requirements Passion for locksmithing as a career(not just a job) Ability to pass DMV and background checks Georgia Driver's License Capacity to lift 50lbs Ideal candidates reside within 30 minute commute of Marietta Square Duties Install, repair, and maintain a variety of locking devices, including deadbolts, padlocks, and electronic locks. Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner. Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose issues with locks and security systems. Provide clients with recommendations for security upgrades or improvements. Perform key cutting and duplication services as needed. Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory of locks and keys. Stay updated on the latest locksmithing techniques and security technologies. Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding locksmithing practices. Skills Proficiency in using locksmithing tools. Strong problem-solving skills to address complex locking mechanisms. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Attention to detail to ensure precision in installations and repairs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good physical stamina for performing tasks that may require lifting or prolonged standing. Knowledge of various types of locks and security systems is preferred.
