Non Exempt Summary:
The Integration Technician is responsible for the outfitting and build out of sprinters, trailers, and customer supplied vehicles the company fabricates and sells. This includes preparing the vehicles, outfitting the vehicles per the desired customer requirements (which could include the installation of external lighting, generators, air conditioners, monitors, printers, wash systems and even bathrooms), installing Rausch equipment (mainline, lateral, laser profiling, etc.), and ensuring the end product is correct. The Integration technician will work to master all the skill sets required for this position.
Job Duties:
The Integration Technician will: Have strong electrical skills and knowledge in order to cable equipment together, wire vehicle lights and cameras, and use best routing practices. Assist with the planning of the interior layout of the vehicles in which Rausch equipment will reside. Be able to work from templates (and construct needed templates) for such items as specific vehicle paneling, door openings, generator and A/C installations, etc. Be able to use and experienced with basic carpentry tools. These could be for wood, metal or fiberglass. Such tools as saws, drills, miter boxes, files, hand tools. Be able to understand and use wiring drawings. Track and record time spent on jobs being worked for tracking / billing purposes. CAD experience a plus. Complete and maintain appropriate integration records, forms and logs. Be able to travel as required. Examples include customer vehicle deliveries or pick-ups, supplier pick-ups, delivering fleet vehicles to service centers, etc. Utilize appropriate material tracking processes and fill out required forms when acquiring and utilizing materials for work orders. be responsible for acquiring necessary material for the service department. will work with Inventory Control personnel to ensure transactions are accurate. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management as required. Qualifications /
Requirements:
The Integration Technician will have: A High School diploma. Minimum of one to three years of experience in either the automotive, electrical, or carpentry industries. Experience with reading, understanding and utilizing drawings and cable schematics to troubleshoot equipment. Ability to lift 75 lbs., pass a drug test, and pass a background check. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of customer information. Maintain a valid driver's license. Prefer the technician to be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications including MS Word and Excel. CAD experience would be beneficial.
