Technicians will train in the shop and manage all responsibilities and customers that come to the shop. Shop responsibilities include greeting customers, cutting keys, rekeying locks, programming car keys, making keys to locks, taking payments, sending invoices, daily deposits, taking inventory, restocking inventory, cleaning and tidying, answering phone calls, scheduling jobs for the road technicians, assisting teammates with projects, and finding ways to continually improve the organization, flow and function of the shop, etc. Previous locksmithing experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service, meaning you are friendly, greet customers with a smile, have clear communication, make eye contact, solve problems, and leave the customer feeling confident and happy! You will need to be able to problem solve as unexpected problems arise. We need someone who has excellent communication skills to communicate well with us, your teammates, and our customers. We expect you to be on time to your shift every day. We expect you to be a self-starter, self-motivated and productive, not needing to be told what to do at every moment.
