What youll do:
Machine Operations:
Operate and set up various machines including drill press, engine lathe, turret lathe, CNC lathe, and machining centers to produce precision parts such as volutes, shells, liners and impellers.
Daily tasks:
include proving out setups, producing pilot workpieces for inspection, diagnosing machine or tooling malfunctions, and making corrective adjustments. Success means consistently producing high-quality parts with tight tolerances and maintaining efficient machine operation.
Technical Understanding:
Work from complex blueprints, part drawings, specifications, and setup instructions. Perform troubleshooting, minor CNC program edits, and efficiency improvements. The role involves manual milling and lathe machining with 200, 000-500,000 micrometers.
Precision Handling:
Manage multi-tooled arrangements with several operations requiring tight tolerances and critical dimensional relationships. Experience with assembly or casting is an asset.
Tool Maintenance:
Perform die sharpening, die and tool changeovers, and replacements to ensure smooth machine operation and quality output.

Must-haves:
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of manual CNC machining experience with mill and lathe skills Experience in die sharpening and tool changeovers Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
Nice-to-haves:
Experience working with Fanuc controls Assembly or casting experience Familiarity with troubleshooting and minor CNC program edits

Work Arrangement:
Onsite, Full time, permanent.
Shift:
Afternoon 4:15pm- 11:45 pm. Overtime available
