Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate manual machinery to produce parts. Read and interpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts. Create prints and drawings. Select the appropriate tooling and material based on the project. Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors. Inspect machinery for any needed repairs; performs minor repairs within expertise. Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area. Compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations. Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to operate various types of machinery. Ability to read blueprints and plans. Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Ability to program in G code and conversational. Excellent mechanical skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:

5+ years of experience in machining. 3G and 4G welding certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move, as needed.
