In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision metal and plastic components. Your expertise in CNC programming, machine setup, and quality inspection will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining tools and contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, and grinders to produce complex parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, Fanuc controls, and CAM software such as SolidWorks, CAD, or Mazatrol to optimize machining processes Set up machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements and tolerances Perform precision measurements during production using measurement tools to ensure parts meet quality standards Conduct machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments to maintain optimal performance Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC mills, lathes, or CNC milling machines with Fanuc or similar controls Strong knowledge of CNC programming including G-code, M-code, and CNC G-code programming techniques Proficiency in CAD/CAM software like SolidWorks, CAD programs, or Mazatrol for machine setup and programming Ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for precise machining Mechanical aptitude with understanding of machining tools, tooling setups, manual machining techniques, and measurement instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes is a plus Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances in manufacturing processes Knowledge of plastics injection molding or metal machining is advantageous Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Commitment to safety standards and quality control procedures in all aspects of work Join us if you're passionate about precision manufacturing!
