Responsibilities Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing machinery including press brakes, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, and stamping presses. Support the interpretation of mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Handle measurement tasks using precision measuring instruments to verify quality standards during production. Participate in metal fabrication activities such as sheet metal forming, welding, and forming machine operations. Operate hand tools and machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols and standards in production environments. Assist with CNC programming tasks under supervision to improve machining efficiency and accuracy. Help with quality inspections by performing measurement checks and documenting results for continuous improvement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework in manufacturing or machining is a plus. Basic understanding of shop math, measurements, and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Familiarity with machine operation including CNC machines, press brakes, plasma cutters, welding equipment, and hand tools preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to follow safety standards rigorously. Willingness to learn new skills related to CNC programming, laser cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), and other manufacturing techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads safely, and perform manual tasks accurately.
