Job Title:
Machinist Job Description The Machinist will be responsible for operating independently on various machines, including Mill and Swiss machines, to manufacture different types of screws and hinges. Proficiency in reading micrometers and calipers is essential for measuring parts accurately. Experience with editing G-code is a significant advantage. Responsibilities Operate independently on Mill and Swiss machines. Manufacture various types of screws and hinges. Read and interpret blueprints accurately. Use micrometers and calipers to measure parts. Perform machine changeovers and troubleshooting. Edit G-code at the machine as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with operating Swiss machines. Troubleshooting and machine operating skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to edit G-code is a plus. Work Environment Work on the first shift from Monday through Thursday, 5:30am - 4:00pm, with Friday to Sunday always off. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
