CNC Programmer / Advanced CNC Machinist Custom & Production Machining | Advanced Equipment | Growth Opportunity Join a precision machine shop where you'll work with advanced CNC lathes and 5-axis mills to manufacture complex, high-tolerance components. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist or programmer who enjoys challenging work, modern equipment, and continuous learning. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC lathes and 5-axis mills Program parts using Edgecam, Mastercam, or similar CAM software Perform complete machine setups, including tooling, offsets, and program adjustments Edit G & M code as needed to optimize machining performance Read blueprints and machine precision parts to tolerances as tight as ±.001" Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools Machine a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys Troubleshoot machining and programming challenges Support both custom prototype work and light production manufacturing What We're Looking For Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes CNC programming experience with Edgecam, Mastercam, or similar software preferred Familiarity with Fanuc controls, offsets, tooling, feeds, and speeds Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills Experience holding tight tolerances and producing high-precision parts Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies Why Join Us? Schedule & Environment Monday-Thursday:
6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Occasional Friday overtime: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM Clean, well-equipped precision machine shop Collaborative team environment with dedicated programming departments for both milling and turning Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rush City, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $81000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. PTO will accrue and if one leaves on good terms, will get paid out on it Profit Sharing that will equate to 4-5 extra dollars an hour 401k Match is at 2% and will raise by 2-3% by end of year Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Rush City,MN.
