Job Description

J.D. Crow & Associates, LLC has an immediate full-time opening for a Production Machinist. In this position you would be using the following machines: Turning Centers (Lynxx 2100 & Haas sT-15), Milling Machines (Haas Super Mini, TM-1, & Manual Bridgeport), and Lathes (Bridgeport EZ-Path, Romi C47, & Haas CL-1). The Codes used on these machines vary from Conversational to G-Code & M-Code. We are looking for an applicant that is well versed in the machines along with the Codes involved. Applicant must be mechanically inclined, good with numbers & meticulous with detail, able to work in a fast paced environment efficiently & accurately as well as willing to learn new things & take on additional duties as required. After the initial training period, you must be able to work independently, quickly & efficiently with little supervision. Applicant must be able to lift 50-75 lbs & stand for extended hours. Shop hours are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday plus one Friday per month with a maximum of 4 hours. Hourly pay will be based on experience. A Health Insurance allowance as well as Employer Paid Dental, Vision & Life are available after 90 days. Within the 90-day probation period is the potential for performance & attendance-based raises.
