Read and interpret blueprints. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and quality standards. Willing to learn to set up tooling, fixtures, and tooling adjustments to optimize machining processes while maintaining safety protocols. Conduct routine checks on machinery and troubleshoot issues. Maintain an organized workstation, keep accurate records, and maintain workflow efficiency. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting. Prior experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants eager to learn. Entry level positions have unlimited room for growth. Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
