CNC Machinist

• Operator $24
• $28/hour (DOE) Sapphire Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist
• Operator to join a precision manufacturing team in Syracuse, NY.

This role is responsible for producing high-quality machined components while maintaining strict quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM

• 3:30 PM Overtime opportunities available on Saturdays Key Responsibilities Operate multi-pallet horizontal machining centers to produce precision parts Load raw materials, unload finished parts, and perform deburring as needed Inspect parts and document findings using quality control procedures Read and follow standard work instructions and technical documentation Identify and report non-conforming materials following proper procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with setup machinists to address out-of-spec parts and minimize machine downtime Participate in quality improvement efforts, including root cause analysis and corrective actions Support continuous improvement practices in daily operations Qualifications High school diploma or GED 5+ years of CNC machining or related manufacturing experience Ability to read and follow technical instructions and quality procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to work independently or in a team environment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods Apply Today Submit your resume to mfgresume@hiresapphire.
